ICAL Alumni Crina Baltag joins the University of Bedfordshire Business School as senior lecturer

The former Secretary General of the Arbitration and Mediation Centre of the American Chamber of Commerce Brazil in São Paolo embarks on an academic and arbitrator career in the UK

2006 ICAL Alumni Crina Baltag has joined the University of Bedfordshire Business School (Law and Finance Department) as senior lecturer.

After studying Law in Bucharest and graduating from ICAL in Stockholm in 2006, Crina read her PhD at Queen Mary University of London and served as PricewaterhouseCoopers Research Fellow in International Arbitration at Queen Mary from 2007 to 2009.  Crina became Secretary General of AMCHAM in 2013, and was replaced in this capacity last year by another ICAL graduate, Carolina Morandi (Alumni of 2016). 

Books authored or edited by Crina include The Energy Charter Treaty - The Notion of Investor (Kluwer, 2012) and The ICSID Convention After 50 Years: Unsettled Issues (Kluwer, 2017).
